Mari e Monti

Mari e Monti is among Reading's most romantic restaurants. One of two Italian restaurants on The Walk, it is run by Alberto and Julio and their wonderful team who know most diners by name. The atmosphere warms up further when on the night's guest singers perform. Quality and freshness characterise the menu which, as you'd expect, specialises in fresh pasta and classic sauces. Favourites include octopus risotto, and chicken breast and oyster mushrooms with cream and dry Marsala sauce.
